A&E SPECIFICATIONS

• The backbox for recessed installation of 8 inch speakers shall be Lowell Model RE1175-T. It shall measure 11.75 in. square x 4 in. deep and be formed from 20-gauge steel, welded and finished in black powder epoxy paint. It shall be undercoated and include a foam pad. It shall feature .5–.75 in. knockouts for conduit on four sides and slots for depth adjustment on two sides. It shall include welded torsion spring receptacles for installation of Lowell torsion grille Model FW-8T (ordered separately). The total weight of the speaker/transformer assembly used with the torsion grille shall not exceed 3.5 lbs.
