A&E SPECIFICATIONS

The grille for 4 inch speaker drivers shall have no visible screws or hardware and shall be Lowell Model CN-4M. It shall be fabricated from 20-gauge steel with a welded steel mesh center and mount using torsion bracket/spring devices. The grille diameter shall be 8.56 in. with a shallow mounting projection of 0.63 in. The grille shall be finished in white powder epoxy. Model CN-4M shall include welded studs and nuts for mounting specified 4 in. (EIA 5 in.) speaker. It shall also include two torsion bracket/spring devices and installation accessories for mounting a speaker/grille assembly weighing up to 3.5 lbs. to specified Lowell backbox. The torsion/bracket method shall be adjustable for varying ceiling depths.
